Terms and Conditions

1. All prices do not include VAT this will be charged at the VAT registered rate of 17.5%

2. All prices quoted are valid for 60 days.

3. A non-refundable deposit of 10% of the total invoice will be charged to confirm all events booked costing over £1000.00

4. Fourteen days prior to the event the client will be expected to pay 90% of the projected remaining invoice. This is non-refundable if the client cancels prior to the event.

5. Clients may supply there own alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for any event but they MAY be charged per head accordingly for service.

6. If clients require a pay bar there is £200 charged for licence and set up. GCS require 28 days notice to obtain a license. GCS is required by law to adhere to strict regulations regarding conduct etc. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure guests act responsibly. Our services may be withdrawn if this is not adhered to and no refund will be due to the client.

7. GCS is guided by our client’s timings for their event. If the client specifies on the day that they wish to delay their event by a considerable amount of time then they will be charged for staff accordingly.

8. All prices are quoted on the basis that catering facilities are available on site. GCS requires knowing at the time of booking if you require additional equipment or facilities. Additional charges maybe levied where extras are required.

9. Whilst the company maintains statutory insurance cover, it accepts no responsibility for any loss, injury, damage or breakages caused by any of its employees. The liability of the company for the failure to fulfil any contract shall be limited to a waiver of any charges due by the client.

10. The client shall pay GCS in the full cost of any loss, injury, damage or breakages attributable to the client during the period in which the company provides services or goods to the client.

11. GCS will make every effort to provide the menu chosen, however, if seasonal change or unavailability of produce etc. makes this impossible, we will inform the client as soon as possible and discuss an alternative. Such reasonable alternatives to the menu shall not entitle the client to cancel their order.

12. GCS retains the right to cancel an event if any or some of the above conditions are not met. We also retain the right to charge full cost in this circumstance.
